Love these boots! After reading other reviews I went with a half size down and they are a perfect fit. Very comfortable right out of the box. Fits well under jeans. Well worth it, can’t wait to show them off!

Bought these boots in both black and brown. Needed a short, but comfortable boot. These definitely fit the bill!! I usually wear an 8-8.5 but got these in an 8, and they are perfect. No breaking in. Comfy right away. Look so cute with everything…jeans, skirts, maxi dresses, short dresses. I stand on my feet all day for work, and am older (64) so needed comfort. These are fantastic. Highly recommend.

When I first put them on I thought they felt a bit tight around the toes. I walked around the house for just a few minutes and realized they molded to my foot very quickly. These boots are amazingly comfortable! I can hardly believe it. I’m going to buy the black ones too!

I got these in black. The distressed detail in the leather looks painted on and makes the boots look like they are much cheaper, pleather boots. They are a little too narrow and are lined in a slightly rough fabric. I bought these at the same time as the Dingo Adobe Rose boots and these Ropers did not compare to the Dingos — I returned them and kept the Dingos.

LOVE these boots!
I wear a size 6 and have a narrow, low-volume foot. Also, have picky picky feet and have the hardest time finding cool shoes that I can tolerate wearing for any length of time. Usually you’ll find me in Naots and Borns so I was delighted to find these were comfortable right out of the box. The height is perfect for my short stature. The distressed look is great, the not-too-pointy toe dresses these up just the right amount. Often boots gape on my little calves but these are perfect!!
**the only caveat is I have a narrow foot and a couple times while wearing them my foot tried to find a reason to say they were too narrow but then I would fan my toes out a little and realize “nope, these are perfect”. I do think if you have a wide foot though you may find these too narrow.
Wore them out to dinner last night in Nashville, was able to walk up the block no problem, received a compliment on them and didn’t want to take them off when we got home. Wore them with skinny jeans last night but am looking forward to wearing them with long and short skirts and dresses. These hit the perfect sweet spot of comfort, cool style, casual, dressy, fun. Am going to look and see what else the Roper brand offers. Very happy with purchase.

Just got these boots in my size 7.5, fits perfect. Very comfortable and wore 9 hours first day on feet all day. They were perfect and my feet felt great with this low heel. I love these boots! I really like the brushed leather too.

I’m very happy with these boots. The leather ‘distressed’ look is slightly contrived looking up close, but not when they are on. They have become my ‘go to’ boot for Fall! Love them!

Very pleased with these. My calves are too big to wear full-height boots, and I’ve struggled to find something that looks like a real cowboy boot. The distressed look looks good from a distance, and I love the pointy toe and authentic stitching. Looks great with boot cut jeans.

I mainly wear boots for dancing, and these are perfect. The sole is smooth and I like that the heel is not too high so that I don’t tower over my partners. I just wish they were a little longer, they look cute with a skirt but not as cute if I wear them over pants. I wear an 8.5-9, I got these in the 8.5 and can wear them with a normal sock.

Love these boots. They are my go to boots w jeans. Comfortable to wear all day. I’ve had them for over a year. Break in time was minimal and didn’t really hurt. I have the black, and the distressed look is really nice. I like that it’s not just solid and I don’t have to worry about getting them scuffed up.

I usually read reviews and don’t write them; however, I feel the need to warn you. Do not order these boots! They are VERY cheaply made. The loops that you use to pull up your boots are hanging on by a mess of hot glue (not a thread). Save yourself the disappointment and do not order these.

I have trouble getting my feet into cowboy boots (tall midfoot and high arches). I knew this going in… but I want a pair so badly. These were the same as all the others I have tried – cant get my feet in them! So I cant really attest to comfort. I will say however, they were super cute and I so wanted to be able to wear them. But this is why I shop Zappos!! Easy returns and customer service is always amazing!!!

I love these! I ordered a bunch of low cowboy boots and these were the winners. I like the distressed look of them. They need some breaking in, but most leather boots like this do. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, but that was too big in these and a 7.5 fit great. They don’t have much cushion in the insole, but there is room to put one if if you want it. I liked how the shaft of these wasn’t super wide like some of the other brands I tried.

I loved these boots and wore them to the barn daily for chores only (not riding). Bought them last June (2021) and I really had to retire them today (April 2022) — both soles are separated and I wore a big old hole in the bottom of the left boot. They are definitely not built to take the punishment I dealt them! I averaged about 12,000 steps over 3-4 hours daily and they didn’t last 10 months. I’m not knocking them, they are super cute if you’re going to wear them to the mall. They just aren’t built for horse people, IMHO!
